Levitated Mass

"Levitated Mass" is a large scale sculpture by artist Michael Heizer.  It is located on the North Lawn of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Heizer is a fascinating artist creating works that people can experience rather than just look at.  He has a monumental work of art located in the isolated desert of Nevada.  You can read about it here.  I'd love to see it one day.
