Called the Lloyd's Building, this radical looking building houses the headquarters of the Lloyds of London insurance company.
The architecture style is called "Bowellism" which is represented by services such as ducts and lifts located on the outside of the building rather than in its core. It was designed by Richard Rogers.
I took this photo in 1991. It's nearly impossible to get a similar photo today because the building is now surrounded by other tall buildings.
Here is my attempt to capture it in 2023 pointing the camera straight up.
