Last September, I posted a photo of the other side of this memorial statue.
This side of the Edith Cavell memorial bears the words "Faithful unto Death" along with "Fortitude" and a regal lion.
Edith Cavell was a British nurse during WW1 and her accomplishments and fortitude are well worth memorializing.
