Located at the San Gorgonio Pass in the San Bernadino Mountains is one of the largest wind farms in the U.S. It's located just off of Interstate 10 near Palm Springs California. Anyone driving from Phoenix to Los Angeles on the interstate will pass this group of wind turbines.

I remember seeing the first wind farm when I lived in England decades ago, there was a great deal of debate over it being an eyesore.
