Skyline
Yesterday I featured the Statue of Liberty so today it seemed only fitting to show you what you see on the boat ride out to Liberty Island. The clouds on this day were perfect to enhance the New York city skyline.

I remember this view quite well... with the Twin Towers standing there.
The city doesn't look so imposing from this vantage point.
That is one of the nicer photos I have seen of the NYC skyline. So often the sea is part of the background, but it has a real presence here.
