The Denver Art Museum

This whimsical art work sits just outside the entrance to the Denver Art Museum.

Here is another view of the museum's beautiful, modern building.  Yes, that is snow in the photo.  Even though I was there in the month of October, a winter storm plowed through and turned a beautiful 70 degree (21c) Saturday into a snow covered 30 degree (-1c) Sunday.

The weather in the mile-high city can change quickly.

Love the sweep of the broom; my feeling while attacking dirt. Snow is good when it disappears as fast as it does in part of Colorado. Advantages to being a mile high!

Looks like a fun place. I really like the whiskbroom/dustpan!

We landed in Denver on May 31st coming from Houston. It was 65 degrees so we headed to the golf course. By the time we finished the first hole the ground was covered with snow and the temperature had dropped into the 30s. Looks like we had the same experience just at different times of the year! :)

Oh, we never did finish that round!

I visited the Denver Art Museum years ago, but before they began sweeping the streets in front of it. ; ^ /

I have a good friend in Denver and we enjoy gigging each other about our respective weather.
