Casa Rosada is the official executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina. It is known officially as Casa de Gobierno or House of Government. Many of us know it as the place where Eva Peron made speeches from the balcony. Remember "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" from the musical "Evita"?

Never saw "Evita." But I do remember Eva Peron. And her husband. It's a lovely building, though! :)
I've been there and I remember Evita every time I see this buildng.
