Lake Louise

It's been a very long time since I've been to Lake Louise and I only have a few photos of the visit there.    I distinctly remember being awestruck by the beauty of this place.  The photo shows The Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise, a beautiful and historic hotel sitting right on the water's edge.  I was traveling in a motorhome on this trip so I didn't stay at this lovely place but I did have a wonderful, leisurely lunch here sitting at a table with a spectacular view of the lake.  Lake Louise is located in Alberta Canada.

What a gorgeous capture. And what a location for the hotel!

What better setting for a nice leisurely lunch. You were with Mom and Dad if I remember right. I bet Mom loved it.

Thank you for this. I've never been here, but Lois has - when a young girl. She told me of its beauty and you've confirmed it!

My mother always wanted to go there but I don't believe she ever made it.

Have fun with this new blog. TWO blogs! I can barely keep my head above water with just one. I will enjoy stopping here from time to time to see where you have been. (Loved the Burano photos . . . i had the opportunity to go over there but stayed in Venice instead . . . looks like I might have made a mistake.)
