Red phone booths

At first glance, you might think this photo was taken on a rare sunny day in London England but, it actually was taken in the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires Argentina.  Behind the phone booths is a lovely little patio cafe.  A perfect place to relax after spending hours in the famous Recoleta Cemetery.

The phone booths fooled me on the location.

Yup, you coulda fooled me, except the background doesn't look very Londonish. I love these booths...wondering if they are working phone booths. You can see them in Florida, too, in the England section of Epcot at Disney World. :)

This is a pleasant spot. The sidewalk cafe is named La Biela, which translates as the connection rod. The cafe was a favorite hang out for race car drivers, and also serves as a place where people in the neighborhood make connections.

That was funny, when I saw the thumbnail I said, "oh it's London". But when the picture opened, I knew I had gotten it wrong.
