Mendoza Argentina
When I travel, I'm always on the lookout for the unusual shot. Of course, I take photos of all the usual sights that I've come to see but, I'm keeping my eye out for something different too. That's exactly what I thought when I spotted this quiet and little corner inside the Park Hyatt Hotel in Mendoza Argentina. I didn't look to see where these stairs lead however, they appear to be little used. I loved this photo so much that I have an enlargement of it hanging in my house.
NOTE: I'm going to start posting to this site once or twice a week instead of daily.

The Park Hyatt in Mendoza is a great place to stay.
And Mendoza, Argentina is a great place to visit, especially for those of us who like to do wine tastings at the vineyards.
Beautiful shot of this curved staircase. Yes, you do have a good eye for the unusual! Do you have a copy of it in B&W, too. I'd like to see that although the stairs would lose some character in that, I suppose.
Good choice. It is an excellent photo. When I was a ham radio operator, for some reason, I spoke with numerous other "hams" from Mendoza, Argentina. (Probably German spies, right>)
Very "chic"!
I can see why it's a favorite of yours. Very well composed and the combination of lines and colors just works! Also, the floral arrangement adds a very cool touch amidst the straight lines of the wall tiles and the stair.
You really have a wonderful photographic eye, but I think I've told you that before!
You get around, Sharon.
